24/12: Trail Conditions 12-24-08

Well it is not hard hard to figure out that last night's warm weather and rain has temporaily closed the WRGT from snowmobile use. Even though there is still any icy base, please keep off of the trail so we can preserve that ice base for the next snow fall.

22/12: WRGT Trail Conditions for 12.22.08 "3:00 P.M. Update"

Currently the WRGT is open to snowmobile use. This will be a short lived session due to reports of warmer weather coming in the next few days. Please rememember to be considerate of other trail users.

The Lampson road parking lot has been plowed!

22/12: WRGT Trail Conditions for 12.22.08

The Ashtabula County area has recieved overnight a few inches of new snow, but with the blowing wind has taken alot of the snow off the trail. We are currently getting a good blast of snow and we are expected to get 4-8in of accumilation today. This post will be updated later this afternoon.

PLEASE REMEMBER IT IS A PRIVILEDGE TO BE ABLE TO RIDE THIS TRAIL! PLEASE DON'T ACCELERATOR RAPIDLY AFTER CROSSING INTERSECTIONS. THIS HELP PRESERVE THE BASE BELOW AND MINIMIZE THE WEARING OF THE ASPHALT TRAIL BELOW.


FINALLY PLEASE REMEMBER THAT THIS TRAIL HAS A NO STUD RULE

Trail is CLOSED

Needless to say, the warmer temps have melted nearly all of the snow on the Greenway and all adjacent dirt roads. Trail is closed until the next spring snow-storm.
